REPORTING FROM THE HOSPITAL

Here is the latest from Mary.

"Hi Art. I am at the hospital right now. Sherri's room has a south facing window and the sun is streaming in, warming her naturally. Sherri is having a little sleep. She had a walk this morning and ate a bowl of oatmeal, applesauce, 1/2 a yoghurt  a small carton of milk and some tea. It really tired her out. She looks pretty good and asked if I could help her brush her teeth and do her hair after a nap. More solid progress."

It all sounds good and we think we have turned the corner on this. No idea when Sherri will be sent home but if she continues to progress over the weekend we hope it will be the first of the week.

Carol is preparing a stew for supper and it is cooking on the wood stove as I type. Smells delicious.
