SPROUTS

Yesterday Mary had an appointment in Peterborough. The school buses here were cancelled but we bravely ventured forward in this:

Freezing rain, and blowing snow were the driving conditions for the day. Finally about noon the snow stopped and our drive home was on bare roads.

Winter just doesn't want to leave and this morning it is -11*C outside. Inside spring has arrived and Mary is getting ready for planting her garden.

These sunflower sprouts we use on salads or feed to our chickens.

It might be cold and miserable outside but inside we are warm and enjoying the new plants as they germinate.

Today we will varathane the windowsills in the bedrooms and get ready for company this weekend.

Thanks for stopping by and safe travels Annie and Marvin.
