DECK MARCH 8TH

Yesterday was cool but sunny and Mary and Sherri took Owen for a walk.

Peter and I were busy working on the deck, ripping 2x6 for the screen frames and installing the railings at both ends of the deck.

Here are the screen pieces ready to go together to make the frame. The line you see is the groove we cut into them to accept the spline for the screen.

Today we want to finish the railings, start on the screens and put in another post. Right now it is raining but we can work on the deck where it is dry.
