COOKIES

It's been a busy week here with construction, chickens and making cookies for Owen's party.

Don't they look yummy?

Our chickens have been out and about on the sunny days this week. Mary is also looking after the neighbour's chickens for the week so we have been collecting lots of eggs to bring to Toronto.

Solar panels are working just fine. It has been at least a month since we've had to use the generator. WE do not skimp on using electricity, usually doing a load of laundry each day as well as using all the typical kitchen gadgets, chop saw, table saw, air-compressor, shop-vac and charging all our drill batteries.

Spring is here, the snow is melting and the ice is almost off our pond. We are ready for summer.

Today Peter will be here and we may replace the posts on the front porch, or we may build the landings at the top of the porch stairs, or we might work on the east gable. Lots of choices.

Safe travels everyone.
