TIME FOR A HIKE

Too much sitting around reading and watching movies. Time to get off the couch and get some exercise. So up on the mountains we went and spent this afternoon enjoying the views and watching the birds.

First stop was a roadside stand for eggs and some apples.

They had lots of pumpkins for sale but we don't need pumpkins. We did learn they are good to feed to chickens so may get some when we get home.

Spotted this deer as we drove up the mountain. Seem smaller than the ones we see back home.

Not the best of days for a hike but we did enjoy the trail, fresh air and views across the valley.

Carol and Don are enjoying the holiday as they haven't spent much time in this area in the past. Carol always likes an area with mountains.

By the time we got back to the resort the sun was out, the golfers were out and we were tired out. Time to put our feet up, rest and have a snack.
