OVERCAST TODAY

Looks like lots of rain today maybe as much as 22 mm. This will be a good day to stay inside and work. Yesterday we cleaned up the yard and did a dump run so it is looking more organized outside now. We are expecting company for lunch and Marvin and Annie for supper so it will be a day of socializing and getting caught up on everyone's news.

As you can see an overcast day.

House has been without heat most of the night. Outside the temperature is 6*C, inside it is 15*C but I think I will get the fire going. We use the wood stove for heating water, soup and stews so it is good to keep it going during the day. It will be interesting to see our temperature range once we get into winter and those minus 20*C days.

Yesterday the boys helped Mary landscape around the house foundation. It isn't complete yet but the north wall got done and this is what it looks like.............

I like the look of stone around the foundation.

We've moved our wood supply closer to the house and will keep one skid stacked by the back door. This way we don't have to go out in the snow to get a new supply of firewood.

Have a great day and safe travels everyone. Where are you Bob?
