Sirens wailing and flashing lights and you knew something was coming. It was the sleigh pulled by 8 tiny reindeer and the big boy sitting in the sleigh at the back. Yes, Santa arrived in Bancroft.

It was another community event with schools, churches, clubs and businesses having floats and lots of kids sitting on them.

Rocky our "Rockhound" Jemberee mascot was there. ............

along with the gymnasts who performed as they marched along.

Smoky the fire-dog waved from his truck and reminded everyone to use smoke detectors.

A most enjoyable small town parade with the street lined with spectators and lots of kids enjoying themselves both in the parade and on the sidelines.

Now it's time for me to enjoy all the candy canes they gave out. Almost as good as Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by and safe travels everyone.
