ANOTHER ROOM DONE

Peter was here yesterday and we got the drywall up in the master bathroom. Today Mary will mud and tape it so it will be ready for the floor tile and shower tile to be installed.

Yesterday Mary worked on the front entrance, guest bedroom and closets. She has become quite good at mudding and can make the most damaged areas look smooth and clean with just a few strokes of her drywall knife.

This should be a productive week with Ben and Peter here Thursday and Friday. I hope all of the drywall is up by the end of Friday which would leave mud and taping and the wood trim to install around the doors, windows and baseboards.

That will be on next week's agenda along with painting. Looks like we might just get this place done before Christmas.

Wednesday we are off to Peterborough to get the glass doors for the shower stalls and a few accessories for the bathrooms.

We are delighted with the tile job Paul did and I think when you see it you will agree. (no pictures, you need to stop by)

Looks like we are in for another yo-yo winter. Last week the temperature was -13*C and we had snow on the ground. Today the snow is gone and the temperature is to climb to +13*C. I'm ready for snow and lots of it so this warm weather is not making me happy.

Thanks for stopping by and safe travels Tony.
