This machine is unstoppable. It's used by the hydro crews to clear trees and limbs from under power lines. The job is done in minutes compared to hours with a crew working with chainsaws.
Looks to me like it's built on a skidder platform with a boom added to allow selective pruning of trees too close to the power lines.
The tires are huge and covered in chains making this beast capable of crawling over anything. If something is in the way, down goes the blade at the front and it is quickly removed.
Now if I could just get him to bring it by our place and lift my bobcat off the hill I'd be back in business.
