COUNTRY DRIVE

We took Don and Carol for a country drive last week. We were looking for a farm that sells sheep but instead found a farm selling honey.

After a lovely chat with the couple running the farm and the purchase of some honey we moved on to Peter's place.

The guys were busy clearing and burning brush.

Peter explained where the house will go and how much they still need to clear.

Ben used the chainsaw to cut the trees and all the small stuff was tossed into the fire. That ATV in the background with the tracks is used to haul the trees out to the clearing. It was cold but sunny, a perfect day for working in the bush as long as you stayed close to the fire.

Another overcast morning here, -15*C.

Safe travels everyone.
