EARLY MORNING

Early morning is a wonderful time of the day. The blackness of the night is slowly replaced with the early morning rays of light as the sun begins its appearance for another day.

The soft morning light as seen from our deck. Still a little cool for breakfast on the deck.

This Downy woodpecker is a frequent visitor throughout the day. Look how he uses his tail to give himself better leverage on the feeder.

We haven't seen many Evening Grosbeaks but this one has been hanging around lately.

An early morning fire is welcomed as our temperatures still dip below freezing some nights.

This morning we will focus on outside work as rain is in the afternoon forecast.

Rain or sunshine, there is always work to be done.
