Quartzsite

This is show time in Quartzsite. Over the next two months there will be: rock shows, gem shows, classic car shows, quilt shoes, RV shows. These attract thousands of RVrs from all over the USA and Canada as well as vendors selling everything including the kitchen sink. One item we wanted to check out was rugs, so off we went this morning in search of the rug dealers.

Parked with Annie and Marvin at La Possa North on the BLM land in Quartzsite.

Cow hides make great rugs, so this is a possibility.

Here the vendor shows one of the large hides for sale. Didn't buy one yet but I'm sure before we leave there will be two or three in the back of the truck.

It was -1*C when we woke up this morning and we have no furnace. Mike and Sherri's "flower pot" stove top heater is working overtime.We are booked to get our propane heater installed at 10 this morning,YEA! No more freezing nights.
