Lake Havasu Balloon Festival

We arrived yesterday at our campsite right on the shore of Lake Havasu.

While we were setting up, two balloons floated across the distant horizon.

This morning I was on my way to Lowes and discovered this crew inflating their balloons just outside the park entrance.

Floating, silently above our heads.

Tomorrow we will get up early and go down to the launch area near the London Bridge. Yes the London Bridge was moved to Lake Havasu in 1971.
