Our usual sighting of beaver tails is in our pond where they are attached to an animal. Yesterday the tails were flying.
This one flew past in the morning. It is a Canadian Beaver built in Toronto in 1953. It crashed in 2002, was pulled out of the lake, restored and is flying again. These planes are the work horse of the Canadian north.
We had a lovely visit with Charles who hopes to one day fly with Mission Aviation a company that does relief work around the world. Click HERE to visit Charles' web site.
Lots of planes to see including this ultra light .......
that Charles flies.
This is a Murphy Rebel, two seater built in 2008.
This Cessna was built in 1950 and is almost as old as I am. It has obviously been lovingly looked after over the years.
It was a perfect day to go and enjoy the Bancroft fly-in.
