PAUL VISITS

Mary's brother Paul is visiting today. Like all siblings they spent the evening chatting and getting caught up on "family" news.

Mary and her new favourite shirt. With two awesome grandchildren and number three on the way she is a proud Oma.

Dressed for a walk in the bush; certainly not a fashion statement but functional and essential.

Bugs don't bother Paul. He spent most Junes canoeing through the north where the bugs are big enough to fry for supper.

Our bird feeders continue to be busy and give us lots of entertainment.

We have Downy and Harry woodpeckers constantly digging the seeds out and spilling quite a few.

Those that fall to the ground are not wasted. Looks like this guy has a full load. (see cheeks)

What the chipmunk misses the red squirrel will find. There is always competition under the feeders.

The sun is shining so we will paint and clear brush later but for now we are enjoying our visit.

Safe travels everyone and thanks for stopping by.
