BIKER SUNDAY

When Mary heard they were having a "ride your bike to church" Sunday she was very excited. She wanted us to get our bikes out, dusted off and get back riding them so we would have the strength to ride to church. 

Unfortunately I had to burst her bubble and point out the term "bike" meant "motor bike" like a Harley Davidson, not some peddle bike she rode when she was a kid.

So yesterday was "Bike Sunday" and sure enough we had 50 or so big monster bikes in the church parking lot. After church there was a BBQ which gave us a chance to socialize, see the bikes and meet the bikers. 

The food was good, the message was challenging and the weather was perfect.

In the evening we had the pleasure of listening to the Mennonite Choir conduct a service in the park in downtown Bancroft. I'll share pictures from that event tomorrow.
