ROW BY ROW

Mary has been busy working on her latest quilt: a "ROW BY ROW" challenge.

The idea is to collect patterns from different fabric stores and then select eight designs and make your quilt. It's a smart way for fabric shops to increase their buyer traffic and the ladies love any excuse to buy more fabric. (Have you seen Mary's stash?)

Mary enlisted the help of my sisters who kindly visited fabric stores in their neighbourhood and then sent patterns for Mary to select. That was a great help and gave Mary a considerable variety to choose from. As you can see by the ones on the table the theme is water; but you will have to wait to see the finished quilt as it needs to be seen by my sisters first. Sorry but orders from the boss.

We are looking forward to the family gathering later this week so expect photos sometime after August 10th
