ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS

Another hidden gem that we had never visited is the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton. Maggie and Sean decided it was time we paid  visit. We were not disappointed. We hiked through the Cootes Paradise Sanctuary and you felt like you were miles from the city, unbelievably beautiful and quiet.

Even their dog "Missy" enjoyed the hike.

Lots of places to stop, chat and admire the scenery.

Thanks to Maggie we got a nice picture of the two of us.

Time for more chatting, and yes, in another few months grand-child number three will arrive.

Time to head out of the park and find an ice-cream parlor; we deserve a little indulgence after all that exercise.
