WATERTON N.P.

Sorry for the lack of posting; just haven't found wifi sites on our recent travels. We arrived in Waterton Nation Park last Sunday and was shocked to see the fire damage in the park.

The fire burned all last September and destroyed half the park including our favourite campsite back in the mountains. Over half the trails are presently closed and only the townsite campground is open.

I'll try to add to this posting later but presently the provider won't let me upload any more pictures.

The national parks have this red chair program. They set up red chairs at the best viewing locations in all NP and you are to take a picture of yourself enjoying the view from the chair.

We had wind gusts of 70km and tenters were having trouble getting their tents to stay in place.

Regardless, it's still a beautiful place to visit.
