Nakusp to KASLO B.C.

Left Nakusp about 10 am and arrived in Kaslo BC about 3:30 pm a distance of 150 km. It's a slow trip when you are sightseeing.

We did stop in New Denver a quaint little town of historical buildings all identified and their history explained.

Lunch was at the Appletree Sandwich shop which was recommended by Margaret (a delicious and filling monte cristo sandwich on sourdough bread dipped in egg batter) then on to Sandon BC.

Saldon is another interesting town which once had twenty-nine hotels but today has only four citizens and these old trolley buses rescued from Vancouver. I'll tell you more tomorrow.
