Cat Walk and Chainsaw

Another productive day and we are exhausted. Worked the bobcat for several hours helping the guys prep the entrance way for the cement slab next week.

First we removed the excess sand and rubble, then TJ snapped a line to show the top of the concrete slab.

TJ made a parallelogram  to easily determine the slop of the grade for our entrance. I was impressed.

Dave was up in the rafters building us a "cat walk" so if needed we can get up there without disturbing the insulation.

Once we were done with the bobcat I helped Mary clear bush and burn the small stuff. It also helped to keep the black flies away. They are out but not biting.

Dave is our knowledgeable woodsman. He builds wonderful furniture from logs and knows how to look after his tools. Here he explains the proper technique for sharpening a chainsaw.

TJ tries his hand at sharpening the chain using a file set in a guide. I think he succeeded. Our saw works much better now. Thanks guys.

Thanks for dropping by.
