We left Florida early Sunday morning planning to stay at a state park in North Carolina for the night. GPS took us down some back roads and then to a dead end, but no state park. Ended up parked in Virginia at their welcome center for the night. We weren't alone as there were a number of RVs parked beside us but no highway trucks which meant a quiet safe night for everyone.
Saturday was one of the best days in Florida, warm enough to sit outside. After walking over to the farmers' market Mary got out her craft bag and enjoyed a few hours in the sun.
The farmers' market in St Augustine is full of unique vendors such as this old pickup tuck with a load of flowers for sale.
We were there early, before the crowds and some vendors were just setting up. It's a great market and an unadvertized bonus being so close to the Anastasia state park.
Now we are home, enjoying coffee by the fire and planning our next escape.
Safe travels everyone and thanks for stopping by.
