Mary wants raised garden beds exclusively for her tomatoes. First we had to remove the rocks and prepare the ground for the beds.
Now it's time to go to the lumberyard at the end of our road and get the required lumber. Hopefully we will have this job done by lunchtime. I'll post more pictures once completed.
The actual assembly went together rather quickly.
One done, time for lunch then we will get the second one assembled. Hope to get the soil and the beds filled before the day is done.
Took a little longer than expected, but the beds are done and ready for the soil.
These beds get full sunlight all day long. We should get an excellent crop of tomatoes this year.
Not sure what projects we will work on tomorrow but we will find something to keep us busy.
Safe travels everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Don't forget the bins for the potatoes.
ReplyDeleteHi Jim; We tend to dig the potatoes when they are small and enjoy them for supper the same day. Since we seldom buy potatoes our homegrown ones are extra special. Too tired to make supper tonight. We had a date night. Thanks for keeping an eye on us.
