FILLED

Another sunny day and no bugs, a perfect day for working outside. Early this morning I got a yard of compost from the local nursery and we filled our newest raised beds.

Unloading directly from the trailer wasn't as convenient as expected. It was awkward getting the trailer into position and then difficult for the two of us to work in the cramped space.

For the second bed we used the skid-steer which made the whole process faster, smoother and less stressful. (should have listened to Mary in the first place)

We went through two yards of compost as well as a bucket of straw and compost we had left over from last year.

Now all the beds are ready for planting which may occur Friday or early next week. It all depends on the weather.

Next major project will be assembling the small greenhouse we inherited two years ago. Definitely overdue on that project.

Time to relax and enjoy some sunshine on the deck.

Safe travels everyone and thanks for stopping by.
