Last week Mary met with her radiologist. It was one of those meetings full of stress going in as one is always fearing the worst. Mary didn't eat much that morning as butterflies were her constant companion on the ride down.
Dr Segal had nothing but good news for Mary. He was surprised that the tumor shrank as this seldom happens. The radiation was simply to try and cut off the blood supply to the tumor in her spine. The shrinkage was an added bonus.
He will continue to monitor her progress and wanted to see her again in two months but Mary convinced him to go for six. So in October we will be back for another MRI and consultation.
Thanks so much for your prayers and words of encouragement as we've travelled this road the past twelve months. You are a blessing to us.
Safe travels everyone and thanks for stopping by.
