It's a slide left when an otter slid down the snowbank. The prints in the slide were left by a dog that came by later and had to investigate.
Trudy and Mary return after feeding the chickens. You can see our chicken coop in the background with the red snow fence we use as their outdoor run in nice weather. Even in winter they love to be out there when it is sunny.
As you can see still lots of snow here and it will stay for another week as temperatures will stay below freezing.
Maple syrup production will have to wait; but we are ready as soon as we get into some warm sunny days.
