Mary is now making pizza from real Italian flour. It makes such a delicious light crispy pie that makes the best homemade pizza you've tasted. Here Mary is letting the weight of the dough stretch itself into the shape she wants.
Italian pizza needs Italian tomatoes and Mary purees them slightly before spreading them on the dough. They do make an excellent paste.
Once the dough was covered we added .............
whatever ingredients we preferred. These are small pizzas and Mary was able to make five so we enjoyed a different variety on each. We cut each pizza into thirds and had to stop after three. Delicious but filling.
When you are ready to try one be sure to call ahead. The dough needs six hours to rise and rest before baking. Guess what Mary wants next? .......... a wood fired clay PIZZA oven. Once we get that done it will be party time.
