Bancroft was quiet when we drove through at 8 a.m.
Very few vendors at the Combermere market this morning. Next week marks the end of their season and with such small crowds I understand why. We will miss the outdoor markets; just another sign that winter is coming.
Still lots of colour in our hills and I expect they will hold through our Thanksgiving weekend. Algonquin Park will be bumper to bumper next weekend.
Even our road is a delight to drive this time of year. I think after lunch we will walk our trails and see if we need to make any improvements. Before long we will be getting the snowshoes down from the attic and enjoying our trails at -40*C.
Safe travels everyone and thanks for keeping an eye on us.
