We continue to be amazed at how much produce we are still picking from the garden.
Today Mary picked tomatellos.
These will be peeled, cooked and canned ready for use this winter as a salsa.
Lettuce is still plentiful.
These tomatoes will soon be picked and brought inside to ripen. Mary also picked several bowls of parsley to hang and dry indoors. Getting almost seven months of produce from our garden is remarkable for this climate zone. I think next year we will add another two raised garden beds as well as a small greenhouse. We do enjoy picking and eating our own vegetables.
