We are getting ready for winter. I moved our skids of firewood up to the house this past week as we now need a fire most days.
This morning we took Ivan and Jan for a walk through our hiking trails.
A stop by the back ponds gave us a chance to catch our breath and admire the views.
Our pace was relaxed giving us time to chat and listen as we hiked along our snowshoe trails.
This tree will be removed before winter arrives. We don't need added obstacles when we are on snowshoes, our terrain is challenging enough.
Now it's time to enjoy the fire and watch the turkeys outside our window.
