We Love Company

It's always great to have family and friends drop by. Yesterday Mary's sister Connie and her husband Andrew visited and the first then we did was put them to work. We still have brush and trees to clear before we start to build on the 22, so off we all went for a day of hard labour.

Andrew had a great time driving the "bobcat".

Careful with that chain, we don't want it to snap.

Hooking the chains together so we can pull out the stumps.

Mary and Connie gathered brush and tended fires while we worked the bobcat and pulled trees up the hill

The forecast for the next three days is rain, so we may just enjoy a good book in the comfort of the cottage.

Drop by anytime. Construction begins in two weeks.
