The Unexpected

We are blessed to be able to travel at our own pleasure and visit such beautiful natural areas as well as historical sites across North America. An added bonus are the surprises we uncover as we explore and meet people. One such surprise was right here in the RV park. Bob and Beverly are a couple you would love to sit and chat with all afternoon. They are both interesting folks, full of stories and ideas we all could learn from.
Bob gave Marvin and I a tour of his most recent project; restoring a Model A 1930 Ford. I will let the pictures speak for themselves but you will see from the start, this is a labour of love.

Bob takes a moment to ponder his restoration project.

Looks to be in showroom condition. Bob, you have done a fabulous job
bringing this car back to life.

Rather simple by today's dashboards. I remember driving one of these
whenever we visited Scott's place. He had converted the car into a tractor.

Bob listens as Marvin tells a story about his own vintage cars.

Almost finished, just a few more man hours to re-attach things and make it road worthy Who would have expected such fine work here in Texas Airstream Harbor Park? It was un-expected.
