Clouds in the Desert

Today Jimmy drove over to warn us of high winds later this afternoon. We took in our awning and chairs, ready for the big wind and are snug inside our aluminium tube (Airstream Trailer) Not as warm today either, only 19*C but yesterday was just a little too warm. With the warmth comes changes to the desert and on her walk yesterday Mary saw a snake, lizard and chipmunk. Now these little critters are really no reason to avoid Arizona. The snake doesn't want to be near you, the lizard has other things on his mind and the chipmunk needs food and your not his food source. So when you get the chance, put Arizona on your travel plans and come on down.

Our little spot before we stabilized for the coming storm.

That tent you see has four heavy tow bands over the top and secured to stakes on either side.

We can hear our blue flap as the buttons hit the side of our trailer.

Mountains to the west of us.

Diane is a fellow "airstreamer" and camped across the road from our trailer.

Our sky at 2:30 this afternoon. So far not too bad; no rain yet.
