The Kids are Back

The past week has been quiet here back in the bush but that is about to change.

The grandkids arrived yesterday and this morning Kate is busy making breakfast for us. Looks like a delicious breakfast of cupcakes and pancakes. 

Owen is busy on his  computer and Oma is making real pancakes for breakfast. 

Penny has been relagated to the porch this morning. All the training she received the past two weeks went out the window when the kids arrived; new faces, new challenges.

She does enjoy the outdoors and we take her for "off leash" walks as often as possible.

So far she always comes when called; of course I reward her with a treat. We really like her at this stage but know she will be three times the size when fully grown. She is adorable and come September we plan to see how she handles camping in Algonquin Park. If all goes well we will then start planning longer trips.
